Sevigne A Brands Evolution

Just as Australia reopened post-COVID, I crossed paths with a Creative Director I’d long admired on Instagram. Rafa Olara was in town with a Hollywood actor, set to film in Byron Bay for a few months. Our Instagram connection turned into a real-life collaboration, leading to Sevigne’s very first campaign shoot, captured by the talented photographer Simon Upton.

To set the tone, I shared an image with Rafa (see below)—soft, elegant, and effortlessly woven into daily life, capturing the essence of Sevigne.

As the shoot went on, the images became more and more beautiful. With the arrival of Shima—even if just for two hours—a few of the shots took on an increasingly iconic quality 

This photographic shoot also coincided with Sevigne’s first film, directed by Cristian Prieto, with words by Rafa Olara.
